Pathfinder My Professional Development Platform My Challenge Questions My Goals My Learning PathMy Reflection Description Pathfinder is an innovative platform that guides professional development and promotes continuous learning. Pathfinder offers a personalized dashboard where Athletic Trainers (ATs) can set professional goals, engage with evidence-based challenge questions, customize their learning path on a personal timeline and reflect on their professional development journey. The system intuitively recommends relevant learning activities. Value Pathfinder empowers ATs to take control of their professional growth by aligning goals with targeted learning opportunities. It aims to enhance clinical expertise, supports continuous development and reinforces BOC’s commitment to excellence in patient care. Description My Goals requires completing a SMART Questionnaire combined with guided SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-bound) goal forms to help participants create at least two targeted goals. Two optional activities within My Goals include: • Professional Development Needs Assessment (PDNA) is a self-assessment that allows ATs to rate their knowledge of the current BOC Practice Analysis. • Self-Assessment Exam (SAE) in Test Mode is an entry-level practice exam that provides the AT with a score and brief descriptive report at the domain level. Required Participation 5 Create at least two (2) goals My Goals Set self-directed goals Description My Challenge Questions (MCQs) is an objective formative assessment for professional development through reflective learning. By offering immediate feedback, MCQs empower professionals to make data-driven decisions about their professional development. Required Participation 5 Complete 7 out of 8 segments (15 questions per segment - each segment is approximately 3 months) My Challenge Questions Assess knowledge, identify areas for growth and guide ongoing learning using targeted challenge questions Description My Learning Path helps ATs stay on course toward their continuing professional certification goals. Required Participation 5 Add at least two (2) learning activities to your My Learning Path My Learning Path Track goals and learning activities identified during the MCQs feedback process Description My Reflection prompts ATs to evaluate challenges, acquired skills and the impact of their learning. This tool facilitates meaningful engagement with the Pathfinder experience.
